Agreed, and would like to add that we have actually finished Parashat Shemot. This accomplishment didn't receive as much attention as it should have. Mazel Tov! Though we may "be behind" all the time, it goes without saying that we have done quite a bit of learning, be it technological or Biblical, in the past few months and the transition from Halacha to Chumash class went smoothly, of course, thanks to R' Lubetski.
I totally agree with Dylan's humorous post. We actually finished the Parsha! We should definitely have a Siyum in class one day in honor of our great accomplishment. I think it would be very fitting to take all the pressure off of the class for one day for some lighthearted chocolate and ice cream, or whatever else we can find.
I agree with Akiva I found it very helpful how we reviewed our work in class I also think we have been learning the material better since we have reviewed the information as a class instead of in small groups.
